Bachelor en Formation Pédagogique

The Bachelor's degree in Pedagogical Training is designed for students who already hold a bachelor's degree in education-related fields, with the aim of obtaining an additional qualification that prepares them for teaching in primary education (cycles 2-4) in Luxembourgish schools.

Admission requirements

To be eligible for the program, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Luxembourgish high school diploma or a recognized foreign diploma equivalent to the Luxembourgish diploma.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) in one of the following fields:
    • Pedagogy, social sciences, or psychology.
    • Languages, mathematics, sciences, arts, or sports.
  • Successfully pass and achieve a favorable ranking in the admission examination, which takes place annually at the beginning of July.

The Bachelor's degree in Pedagogical Training is designed for students who aspire to teach in the Luxembourgish school system. Students are equipped with the necessary pedagogical and didactic skills to meet the challenges of a multilingual and multicultural educational environment.

Throughout the program, students develop their teaching abilities based on the theoretical knowledge taught in courses and gain practical skills through field experiences in Luxembourgish schools. They are encouraged to engage in self-reflection and commit to ongoing professional development.
